Washdown heaters are typically used for industrial or commercial space heating in areas where equipment may be exposed to moisture, washdown activity, humidity, or harsh operating environments. Typical applications may include wash bays, processing areas, maintenance shops, industrial utility spaces, warehouses, wastewater facilities, food or beverage processing support areas, agricultural facilities, and other locations where a more durable heater construction is preferred over a standard dry-location unit heater.
